First Carousel Ride!

I went to the closest Gymboree store yesterday and what do you know? They have a carousel ride within sight of the store! Talk about marketing their wares (the carousel people). Isabella was squealing with excitement as she was watching the horsies (as we call them) go around. But I did manage to snag some great bargains at the store while holding her half the time. Which, in my humble opinion, was no small feat!
After I finished shopping she got to ride a horsie and thought it rocked.
It was totally worth the $3 token I had to buy!

Isabella in her lounge chair!

Isabella loves this chair made out of foam and then slip-covered. The slip cover is removable for easy cleaning. because you know that kids will smear and spread and spill all kinds of stuff on it.
This was taken in our pre-bath time when she is tired from her busy day and is winding down. This is the only time during the dayyou will see her sitting still for more than a second.
I love this chair because she likes to drag it around  with her but it is so light and even if she trips over it or it tips when she tries to climb it (both have happened numerous times) she doesn't end up getting hurt. Which makes mommy happy! If anyone is looking for a great toddler chair for a little girl, this is where you find it: Marshmallow Fun Furniture High Back Chair - Disney Fairies

Old Navy Wholey-Moley Sale! 30% off everything in the store!

Did you know Old Navy are having a Wholey-Moley Sale starting today until Tuesday (June 29th). All their items are 30%, regular, sale and clearance. I went today but because Isabella has LOTS of clothes, I resisted buying her more. I did end up buying her some new socks though! LOL
Old Navy
I have this movie on my Netflix queue and we are planning to get the Blu-ray version to watch it in Jake's new laptop which is also a blu-ray player (it can be hooked up to the TV).
I've never read the book or seen any of the movies, so I am not sure if I will like it. But it has vivid colors and animals and I think Isabella might like it.

Talking about what Isabella might like. She LOVES Curious George. It is her absolute favorite show and Georgie (as we call him) is her best friend! We watch it every day on PBS, right after Sesame Street (She likes Elmo). I am trying to get all the DVDs for her. So far we are at one! LOL

Toddler time at the library rocks!

I have been taking Isabella to one of the branch libraries in San Diego every week for toddler time. There are songs and stories and most importantly- dancing!
She loves the music part of it the best! Whenever the songs stops, she points tot he radio and with pouty lips, says "More".
We usually sit on the outside so she can run around but today we sat inside close to the carpet they have for the kids to sit down on. Well, she became fascinated with this baby sitting in his mama's lap behind her and kept climbing on the chair to look back at him. I've notice she has become very interested with the little babies. She stares at them for the longest time and is motionless, which for her is a great feat! Perhaps, it is because they are someone who are way smaller than her. It is not every day she sees that! This photo is her relaxing in the garden they have off the library in Mission Valley. They have kiddie sized chairs there which is awesome.

Java Mama Cafe in San Diego- A GREAT place to relax while the kids play!

I went to the newly relocated Java Mama Cafe in Scripps Ranch. It used to be in La Mesa which is pretty much next door to where we live. We went once while they were still in La Mesa but Isabella was still a baby and we didn't do much.
Well, now that she is non stop all day, I always try to take somewhere EVERY day or both her and I will go crazy .LOL. Anyway, she loved it at Java Mama. It costs $3.50 for 2 hours of play in their fenced in play area (indoor and air-conditioned!). We spent almost the full 2 hours and I had to drag her out of there! They also have an outdoor area, fully fenced in of course. She had a blast on the indoor slide. She went up and down that thing countless times. All by herself! :) I was actually able to drink my coffee( decaf of course- I haven't had caff for over 2 years!) without her wanting to sample it. You are not allowed to bring any outside food or drink but their coffee drink prices are very reasonable.
This is Isabella on the tunnel thing they have in the outside area. She loved going inside (top picture) and on top of it!
She is wearing her new Gymboree outfit from the Popsicle Party collection! The ice cream cones and bars are so cute!
Java Mama is definitely worth a visit or two or more!
Check out their website:
Java Mama
They also do classes and birthday parties.
If you are a big Twilight fan like me, you would have gotten the soundtrack as soon as it was released. I did! Of course, that was almost a month ago and I still haven't heard the entirety of it, let alone chosen a favorite song! I have it on my iPod BUT the best time for me to listen is in my car and I don't have an iPod dock so I could listen to it in the car. And I haven't had time to transfer it to a CD ( so I could listen to it the old-fashioned way in a CD player).
I have all the soundtracks to the Twilight saga and the scores of the movies too. I have my faves in the other soundtracks- "Supermassive Black Hole" from the "Twilight" soundtrack and "Monsters" from the "New Moon" soundtrack.
So I am not sure if I like the "Eclipse" soundtrack yet!

Sippy Straw Cleaner! AWESOME Find!

If you are like me and inspect everything that your child touches under a microscope (the stuff you can control anyway- we all know they want to touch EVERYTHING in sight!) let alone stuff that goes into her mouth, then you will flip over this find! A sippy straw cleaner! My daughter loves her straw sippies but the straws are so hard to clean without having something you can insert into the flexible straw the rigid straw. While reading San Diego Family Magazine, I found this new product. Check out the website:

They deliver really fast and shipping is very low compared to other rates out there.

New Gymboree Dress

This is a dress I bought for Isabella a week ago. It was the first Gymboree piece of clothing I got her myself (she had gotten a couple as a present from her Aunt Jill).
It is so beautifully made! The embroidered flowers on the bodice and on the sides are adorable! They are so bright and vibrant, they make for a perfect match with the olive green of the dress. It is from the Fairy Fashionable collection.
Isabella LOVES, LOVES this truck! Well, she calls it a car. This is her favorite word at the moment! She started saying it about a month ago and the novelty of it hasn't worn off yet.
Anyway, I got the truck for her for her 1st Birthday but then she really wasn't too interested. And when she started climbing onto things around 14 months, all she wanted to do was climb on it! Well, it wasn't the safest thing in the world for her to do so I took it away and hid it in the closet until about 2 months ago. And now, she is a pro at navigating it, mainly by riding it. She doesn't climb it anymore. She loves the Ice Cream truck music it plays and the little people in the front that move with the music. SO for a toddler on the go this truck is perfect!

I got the Kindle last year and have over 100 books in it. It is so easy to use and so convenient when on the go and you don't want to lug about cart-loads of books (if you are the type who simply cannot survive passing a free minute without reading :)). And Amazon always has some GREAT deals, i.e. free books. So check out their Kindle Bestseller list.

And if you don't have a Kindle, what are you waiting for? Go get one! Shipping is always free with super saver on Amazon with purchases of over $25!

And one more of her sitting in her wagon!

Here is Isabella playing with her Load-n-go Wagon! She looks really sheepish!

I know I have neglected this blog for eons!

WOW! it's been months since I signed into blogger! Isabella is over 18 months now and such an active, bright, bouncy child! I love her so much and I am so exhausted every evening! LOL.
I have got to talk about my newfound interest in Gymboree clothes. I went on the website the other day and after looking through all the cute and adorable clothes they have I was hooked! Now, I want to dress Isabella in Gymboree!
And they are having their Semi-Annual Red balloon sale, some of the prices on their spring and summer clothes are crazy low! Check it out today: www.gymboree.com
Also I found this online coupon for 15% off everythign in your cart. The savings are great on top of the clearance prices. You can't beat that! Here is the link: http://www.retailmenot.com/view/gymboree.com
And I am also selling some Gymboree clothes on eBay! Which is another source for some great Gymboree bargains!
