Eclipse! Awesome!

Okay, I went to see Eclipse last week and I was blown away! I was not too sure of David Slade based on him being mainly a horror movie director. BUT I was pleasantly surprised. The movie definitely showed the love between Bella and Edward. It was very close to the book AND I am happy that the Jacob thing was down played in my opinion. That was the VERY WORST moment in the book when I was reading! I was "Why, oh why would Stephenie Meyer do that? I know Edward and Bella belong together". Of course, after reading Breaking Dawn, the relationship between Bella and Jacob is explained. It was all predestined for Bella and Jacob to be connected but not in a romantic way! :)
I do wish that the head ripping scene was gorier! I was looking forward to Victoria being ripped apart by Edward!
Overall though I was amazed and cannot wait for the DVD to come out so I can get it and watch it a million times!

First Carousel Ride!

I went to the closest Gymboree store yesterday and what do you know? They have a carousel ride within sight of the store! Talk about marketing their wares (the carousel people). Isabella was squealing with excitement as she was watching the horsies (as we call them) go around. But I did manage to snag some great bargains at the store while holding her half the time. Which, in my humble opinion, was no small feat!
After I finished shopping she got to ride a horsie and thought it rocked.
It was totally worth the $3 token I had to buy!

Isabella in her lounge chair!

Isabella loves this chair made out of foam and then slip-covered. The slip cover is removable for easy cleaning. because you know that kids will smear and spread and spill all kinds of stuff on it.
This was taken in our pre-bath time when she is tired from her busy day and is winding down. This is the only time during the dayyou will see her sitting still for more than a second.
I love this chair because she likes to drag it around  with her but it is so light and even if she trips over it or it tips when she tries to climb it (both have happened numerous times) she doesn't end up getting hurt. Which makes mommy happy! If anyone is looking for a great toddler chair for a little girl, this is where you find it: Marshmallow Fun Furniture High Back Chair - Disney Fairies

Old Navy Wholey-Moley Sale! 30% off everything in the store!

Did you know Old Navy are having a Wholey-Moley Sale starting today until Tuesday (June 29th). All their items are 30%, regular, sale and clearance. I went today but because Isabella has LOTS of clothes, I resisted buying her more. I did end up buying her some new socks though! LOL
Old Navy
I have this movie on my Netflix queue and we are planning to get the Blu-ray version to watch it in Jake's new laptop which is also a blu-ray player (it can be hooked up to the TV).
I've never read the book or seen any of the movies, so I am not sure if I will like it. But it has vivid colors and animals and I think Isabella might like it.

Talking about what Isabella might like. She LOVES Curious George. It is her absolute favorite show and Georgie (as we call him) is her best friend! We watch it every day on PBS, right after Sesame Street (She likes Elmo). I am trying to get all the DVDs for her. So far we are at one! LOL

Toddler time at the library rocks!

I have been taking Isabella to one of the branch libraries in San Diego every week for toddler time. There are songs and stories and most importantly- dancing!
She loves the music part of it the best! Whenever the songs stops, she points tot he radio and with pouty lips, says "More".
We usually sit on the outside so she can run around but today we sat inside close to the carpet they have for the kids to sit down on. Well, she became fascinated with this baby sitting in his mama's lap behind her and kept climbing on the chair to look back at him. I've notice she has become very interested with the little babies. She stares at them for the longest time and is motionless, which for her is a great feat! Perhaps, it is because they are someone who are way smaller than her. It is not every day she sees that! This photo is her relaxing in the garden they have off the library in Mission Valley. They have kiddie sized chairs there which is awesome.

Java Mama Cafe in San Diego- A GREAT place to relax while the kids play!

I went to the newly relocated Java Mama Cafe in Scripps Ranch. It used to be in La Mesa which is pretty much next door to where we live. We went once while they were still in La Mesa but Isabella was still a baby and we didn't do much.
Well, now that she is non stop all day, I always try to take somewhere EVERY day or both her and I will go crazy .LOL. Anyway, she loved it at Java Mama. It costs $3.50 for 2 hours of play in their fenced in play area (indoor and air-conditioned!). We spent almost the full 2 hours and I had to drag her out of there! They also have an outdoor area, fully fenced in of course. She had a blast on the indoor slide. She went up and down that thing countless times. All by herself! :) I was actually able to drink my coffee( decaf of course- I haven't had caff for over 2 years!) without her wanting to sample it. You are not allowed to bring any outside food or drink but their coffee drink prices are very reasonable.
This is Isabella on the tunnel thing they have in the outside area. She loved going inside (top picture) and on top of it!
She is wearing her new Gymboree outfit from the Popsicle Party collection! The ice cream cones and bars are so cute!
Java Mama is definitely worth a visit or two or more!
Check out their website:

They also do classes and birthday parties.
